Polianthes tuberosa

中文名：晚香玉
形态描述： 多年生草本，根状茎粗厚，块茎状。基生叶条形，长40-60厘米，宽不及1厘米，顶端长略锐，茎生叶短小。花葶直立，高40-90厘米；花成对生，白色，芳香，长5-6厘米，排成较长的穗状花序；花被筒细长，长2.5-4厘米，近基部弯曲；裂片6，短于花被筒，矩圆形，钝头；雄蕊6，着生于花被筒中部，内藏；子房下位，3室，花柱细长，柱头3裂。蒴果卵形，顶冠以宿存的花被；种子稍扁。 原产墨西哥，现广植于温带各地；我国各地庭园也常见栽培。
