【傣药】肯梗（西傣），辛：根茎治发冷发热，胸闷，胸腹胀痛，全身关节痛，跌打损伤《傣药志》、《滇药录》。生姜（德傣）：根茎治吐血《德傣药》。喝逮坑，喝心：根茎生品用于发表，散寒，止呕，祛痰，升温；干品用于温中逐寒，回阳通脉；根治便秘，尿黄，尿道炎，尿痛，咳嗽气管炎，水肿《傣医药》。辛、辛姜、万（西傣）：根茎治疗怕冷发热，胸闷，胸腹胀痛，全身关节痛，跌打损伤《滇省志》。辛讲：根茎用于腹痛，咽干，口苦，咳嗽；外治关节疼痛，牙痛[167]，感冒发热，畏寒，咳嗽[9]。
【佤药】西井：功用同傣族《滇药录》。根茎治风寒感冒，心腹冷痛，呕吐，痰饮，腹部胀痛《中佤药》。
【壮药】棵横（天峨）：根茎水煎冲红糖服治风寒感冒，咳嗽，胃寒痛，月经不调，经酒制后的根茎水煎妥治产后流血不止《桂药编》。
【侗药】应（三江）：功用同壮族《桂药编》。
【瑶药】姜松，松（金秀）：功用同壮族《桂药编》。
【畲药】姜姆，生姜，干姜：根状茎治风寒感冒，胃寒呕吐，胃痛，蛔虫性肠梗阻，痰饮咳嗽，水肿等《畲医药》。
【水药】信：根茎外敷治牙龈肿痛《水医药》。
【傈僳药】雀痞：根茎治风寒感冒，胃寒呕吐，痰饮，喘咳，解半夏，天南星及鱼蟹毒《怒江药》。
【阿昌药】腔：治痰饮咳嗽《德宏药录》。
【哈尼药】嵯子：根状茎治风寒感冒，胃寒呕吐《版纳哈尼药》。
【彝药】查皮：根茎治月经不调（愈期）《滇省志》。拢底土，姜棵脚土：治痰饮咳嗽《哀牢》。齐匹：根茎主治冷寒腹痛，风寒外感，杨梅疮，咳喘，以及南星，半夏中毒，治风湿痛，腰腿痛，胃及十二指肠溃疡，疟疾，急性菌痢，蛔虫性肠梗阻，急性阑尾炎，白癜风，鹅掌风，甲癣以及半夏，乌头，闹羊花，木薯，百部等中毒急救《彝植药》。
【苗药】Shand山，Kid凯：根茎治作寒作凉，恶心呕吐，伤风感冒《苗医药》。 Kaid凯：根茎主治冷病作寒作凉，呕吐，上腹疼痛《苗药集》。伸：根茎治胃寒痛，皮肤水肿，阴道滴虫，跌打。解半夏，南星中毒《湘蓝考》。
【藏药】加嘎：根茎用于培根病，龙病，中寒腹痛，吐泻，肢冷脉微，寒饮喘咳，风寒湿痹《藏标》。曼嘎：根茎治培根和龙的合并症《中国藏药》。嘎加：根茎治“培根”病，“龙”“培根”合并症，胃寒，食欲不振，肺病，呕吐《藏本草》。
【蒙药】宝如一嘎：根状茎治风寒感冒，胃寒呕吐；老根状茎治胃腹冷痛，虚寒吐泻，手足厥冷，痰饮喘咳；炮姜治虚寒性吐血，便血，功能性子宫出血，痛经，慢性消化不良；姜皮治水肿《蒙药》。
【基诺药】超柯：根茎治感冒，胃寒，呕吐，头痛，腹痛《基诺药》。
【资源志】根状茎鲜品(生姜)：辛，温。发表，散寒，温中止呕，解毒。用于风寒感冒，胃寒呕吐，痰饮，喘咳，胀满，泄泻，解半夏、天南星及鱼蟹、鸟兽肉毒。 根状茎干品(干姜)：辛，热。温中逐寒，回阳通脉。用于胃腹冷痛，虚寒吐泻，手足厥冷，痰饮咳嗽。 根状茎外皮(姜皮)：辛，微温。行水，消肿。用于水肿胀满。 叶(姜叶)：用于散水结，瘀血。
